PA610 GF30 = 30% glass fiber reinforced poly(hexamethylene sebacamide). It is a long-carbon-chain glass fiber-reinforced polyamide, modified with 30% by weight of short glass fiber based on PA610 matrix. Most grades are injection molding grade engineering plastics, and some grades contain bio-based raw materials.
 
 
1. Key Features
Low water absorption & excellent dimensional stability
Far lower than PA6 / PA66. Its strength and deformation change little under humid conditions, suitable for high-precision parts exposed to fluctuating temperature and humidity. It has a lower molding shrinkage rate for good dimensional control of finished products.
Good chemical resistance, oil resistance and hydrolysis resistance
Resistant to grease, lubricating oil and hydrocarbon solvents. It outperforms PA66 in hot water hydrolysis resistance. Many grades are available with food contact certifications (FDA, NSF, WRAS, etc.) for water supply, valves and pump components.
High rigidity, high strength and heat resistance
Glass fiber delivers high modulus. Its heat deflection temperature under 1.8 MPa load is around 205°C. Dry tensile strength reaches up to 160 MPa, balancing rigidity and toughness. It has better low-temperature toughness than standard PA66-GF30.
Others
Good friction and wear performance; natural color is light and easy for color matching.
Limitations: anisotropy caused by glass fiber orientation. Molds require nitriding treatment for wear protection; not resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis or strong oxidants.
2. Reference Basic Physical Properties
Density: ≈1.30 g/cm³.
Melting point: 220~225°C.
Saturated water absorption: approx. 3.4% (much lower than ~8.5% of PA66).
Flame retardancy: base grade UL94 HB; custom V0 flame retardant modification available.
Processing method: injection molding; drying required before processing.

4. Brief Comparison with PA66 GF30
PA66 GF30: higher strength, lower cost; high water absorption, obvious dimensional drift in humid environments, weaker hot-water hydrolysis resistance.
PA610 GF30: low water absorption, hydrolysis resistance, oil resistance, stable dimension; higher price than PA66-GF30, slightly lower rigidity.
